We’ve had another busy year with the Georgia Envirothon. This year saw 43 teams register for the Georgia Envirothon, including many teams that had never before participated. The 2010 edition of the North Region Envirothon was held at Amicalola Falls State Park on March 10th, due to snow on the ground the previous week. The 2011 competition dates and locations follow….. North Region: March 2, 2011 at Amicalola Falls State Park. Bad weather date is March 9. East Region: March 3, 2011 at Whitehall Forest in Athens. With a score of 415 points, Rockdale 4H won the 2010 Georgia Envirothon held April 16-17 at Camp Will-A-Way, Ft. Yargo State Park. We have 16 teams participating in this year’s Georgia Envirothon State Competition to be held at Camp Will-A-Way at Ft. Yargo State Park in Winder, Ga.
